Olympic Tent Village - Coast Salish Territories/Vancouver

 An Olympic Tent Village was established on Feb 15 on Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada.  It was set up on an empty lot across from Army & Navy Store to draw attention to the homelessness that people face in Vancouver because there are no affordable places.  Elder Stella said that there are a lot of woman, Indigenous Peoples and persons with medical conditions that do not have a place to stay, yet the government can find money for the Olympic games.
